Rabid Dogs Bite

SF, one of the pastors on staff, has worked very closely with E through the years.  She has, in her words, become very close with E.  She trusts him and considers him a friend.  She understands what has happened, but she isn’t sure where it leaves her.

That was this morning.

This afternoon E started emailing her angry emails demanding she still dance to his tune.  She is hurt and betrayed.

She is seeing what I saw.  I didn’t expect it to happen like this.

I guess rabid dogs bite whoever is near.

    That’s got to hurt her!

And how arrogant of E to think he could still control her!

It always feels a bit special to be the one they treat better than the rest… until they bite you!

make sure the two of you tell the rest of the elders sounds like an old fashioned shunning will be in the making. Not necessarily a bad thing but scary and painful

Power hungry people tend to go rabid when they get their power taken away from them and can’t do anything about it. It’s really sad in this situation because Christ isn’t glorified in the chaos that E has caused and is still trying to cause.
