I talked about legalism today. The point was that we need to make Jesus our focus. (I know, pretty bland…) One lady came up to me afterwards to take issue with the fact that I talked about people from her home state (also happens to be mine) storing old appliances in their back yards. She was angry because she had never seen it.
Sheesh. Is that all you got out of this message?
Just spent the weekend in ________. She’s right. Didn’t see any old appliances in backyards. Plenty in front yards but none in backyards. Sorry Shep.
Dang.
I have never seen the grand canyon. Does that mean it is not there? Other people swear they have seen aliens in the whitehouse, does that mean its true? Just because one person does or does not experience something does not make it real or even relevant. If yur homestate is the same as mine, they are there cuz sometimes I put them there (just til I get to the recycle place but still) did you say you are kinda proving my point?
