(I’m sort of addicted to documentaries.) It is called, “The Human Experience.” I think it is excellent and also complements your theme lately of loving people. Loving people for Christ is our calling. As I watched this film I thought of the people you recently had dinner with. They were, as I recall, concerned because there were a couple of pregnancies in the past few years in the youth group. I wondered as I watched this film…..what did the church do to support these girls and the fathers of the babies….what did they personally do to love these kids? I was challenged as I watched this film. There are so many things God has given me to do….how am I approaching these challenges??? If you haven’t seen it, go watch this film. I think it is helping me.

If you’re conservative, watch MSNBC; if you’re a liberal, watch Fox News. The purpose isn’t really to end up with something defensive or attacking, but I’ve found that getting out of my comfort zone and encountering thinkers with whom I disagree usually triggers something creative in me. If you look at all of the blogs in my google reader, every one of them shares my worldview, so it’s good to get a jolt of something different every so often.

I enjoy your and your wife’s blogs – found you through Todd. Thanks for sharing your experiences, even though they’re painful at times.
